Jewelry Care

A little care helps preserve your jewelry’s finish and setting.

Everyday care

  • Remove jewelry before swimming, cleaning, workouts, and work that could knock or scratch it.
  • Keep it away from household chemicals, chlorine, perfume, and lotions.
  • Store pieces separately in a soft pouch or lined box.
  • Check clasps and settings regularly. If a stone moves or a clasp feels loose, stop wearing the piece and have it inspected.

Gold, silver, and plated finishes

Use a soft, non-abrasive cloth for routine wiping. Avoid abrasive polishing on plated or rhodium-finished pieces. For deeper cleaning, choose a method suited to the whole piece, including its stones and finish.

Gemstone jewelry

Avoid steam and ultrasonic cleaning at home unless a jeweler has confirmed they are suitable for your specific piece. Treatments and fractures can affect cleaning safety. Lapis requires particular care: avoid soaking, heat, and harsh chemicals.
